Plugins are packaged pieces of functionality that extend AXS2LMS 's capabilities. An example would be the “Landing Page” plugin, that adds the ability to show a custom introductory front-page to the user after he signs in.

The Plugins section shows a tabular listing of the installed plugins, and allows the user to view their description, configure them, delete them or export them. It also provides the option to install a new plugin or update an existing one.

To install a new plugin you click the “Install plugin” button, and specify the plugin installation file and whether it should overwrite (upgrade) any existing plugin with the same name.

To learn more about installing, editing and even creating your own plugins, visit the Appendix 1: AXS2LM Plugin Guide.
